A two-storey buff brick Queen Anne. This house and 26 John Street East were both built for George Hasenflug in 1899. Several prominent local citizens have lived here, including Hasenflug, Frank Haight, manager at the Waterloo Fire Insurance Company, James C. Haight, barrister, town clerk and treasurer, and Wilfred Carlisle, Superintendent of Agencies at Mutual Life.
