One of around a dozen houses built in Waterloo around 1912 by Charles E. Fischer (others were around this corner of Allen and Willow, and on two corners of Park Street at Allen Street West, those on one corner having since been demolished). On March 24, 2013, this house, which at the time had the municipal address of 74 Allen Street East, was the scene of an aggravated assault that became murder when the victim died in hospital the next day.
