Architectural Styles: Gothic Revival

St. Paul's Lutheran Church was built in 1877 on land donated by the Doering family. It is a buff brick structure with a wooden steeple that is painted white. An iron cross at the top of the steeple doubles as a lightning rod. Many changes have been made to the interior of the church over the years, but the hand-turned cherry communion rail is original. The altar was built and carved by the Globe Furniture Company.
