Waterloo Hotel, 2–4 King Street North
The Waterloo Hotel was originally the Bowman Hotel. The rear portion of this building was built in 1880. A fire in 1889 destroyed the 2½-storey building at the front; a new three-storey structure was built to face King Street. There is a datestone, reading 1890, in the roof peak, where decorative brickwork can also be seen.
