The former Hummel residence, the house used to be located slightly farther west, at the corner of Park Street. The house was purchased by the school board in the 1920s and later relocated in order to expand the playground of Alexandra School. It was then the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dahmer for over 30 years. The building has now been used as a restaurant for over 25 years.
