A. E. Sanderson moved his bakery from 31–33 King Street North to this location around 1914 and significantly overhauled the buildings on this site. In 1915 he sold the bakery to Charles O'Donnell and William Henderson. Henderson became the bakery's sole proprietor in 1928 and the bakery became known as W. Henderson & Sons. The building is of brick construction, is altered, and now has a stucco veneer.
